Bassnectar, the Glitch Mob, Gramatik and more pitch in for #LOUISIANASTRONG

Artists from every genre have banded together to help raise crucial relief for Louisiana flood victims. Here’s how to donate, get killer new music, and a chance at tickets Desert Trip, VIP meetups and more.

2016 hasn’t been an easy year for the people of Southern Louisiana. Last month, more than 100,000 homes were destroyed by catastrophic floods, 13 people lost their lives, and hundreds of thousands of been impacted. Music for Relief immediately took action.

Music for Relief, a 501(3)c nonprofit dedicated to disaster relief & environmental preservation will be accepting donations to be distributed to on the ground responders Team Rubicon & Baton Rouge Habitat for Humanity, as well the Baton Rouge Area Foundation’s Flood Relief Fund, a 501(3)c nonprofit devoted to distributing aid directly to local charities providing disaster relief across Southern Louisiana.

The multi-genre compilation also features original tracks by Gramatik, Citizen Cope, Boreta of The Glitch Mob, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Nahko and Medicine for the People, The New Mastersounds, and Thievery Corporation vocalist Shana Halligan, as well as original works by Beats Antique side project Dirtwire, Figure, The Voice finalist Whitney Myer, and Moondog Matinee that capture the spirit of the Louisiana cause.

$5 (or more) will get you your own copy, and 100% of proceeds will go to directly to Music For Relief who be distributing funds to Baton Rouge Area Foundation, Baton Rouge Habitat for Humanity, and Team Rubicon. Donate here.
